Our features, reviews and columns reflect the reporting and views of their authors at the time of writing. The industry moves fast: prices change, studios reorganise, games get delisted, and yesterday's scoop can be overtaken by tomorrow's announcement. We update and correct where we can, but we can't promise every page stays current forever.

Nothing on Nexscript is professional, legal, financial or investment advice. When we write about a studio's earnings, a platform's strategy or a game's business model, we're explaining the industry — not telling you what to buy, back or bet on. Opinion is labelled opinion

Reviews and columns carry a point of view on purpose. A score or a strong take is one informed reader's judgement, not an objective fact. Reasonable people disagree about games, and we'd rather argue in good faith than pretend we don't have opinions.

This is not a gambling service

Nexscript covers video games as a cultural and business subject. We do not run games of chance, we do not take real-money wagers, and nothing on this site pays out cash based on an outcome. Any prize we mention in reporting refers to esports competition or a giveaway of merchandise, never money riding on a result.
