Refund Policy
Insider is a yearly pass, priced in US dollars. If it's not for you, we'd rather refund you than keep money you're not enjoying.
The 14-day window
New members can request a full refund within 14 days of their first payment, provided they haven't read a member-only long-read in that time. Since Insider is digital content you can access straight away, opening the archive counts as using it — but the free-tier reading, newsletter and daily news never affect your refund. Insider Annual is $60/yr; Insider Duo is $96/yr for two seats.
Renewals
Memberships run for a year and can be set to renew. We'll email you before any renewal charge. If a renewal goes through and you'd like to stop, contact us within 14 days and we'll refund the new year in full, as long as you haven't used the fresh term's member content beyond a first look.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time to stop future renewals. Cancelling keeps your access running until the end of the period you've already paid for — we don't cut you off early, and outside the refund window we don't pro-rate a part-used year. It simply won't renew again.
Duo seats
A Duo refund covers the whole two-seat plan; we can't refund one seat and keep the other active. If a colleague leaves, you can reassign their seat instead of cancelling — just email us the new name.
How to request one
Write to [email protected] with the email on your membership and a line about what happened. We aim to reply within two working days and process approved refunds to your original payment method promptly. Questions about access rather than money? See how access is delivered.
